The Nursery Garden

Hedgehog pictureOur nursery includes a working fruit and vegetable garden, which the children are encouraged to explore and become involved in. From sowing seeds, to pricking out seedlings, caring for the plants and finally harvesting produce, our children are at the heart of the garden throughout the year.

Watering the GardenSome of our produce goes straight to the nursery kitchen, where it is included in the seasonal lunchtime menu's which the children eat. Any surplus produce is available to purchase from the childrens' own garden shop located within the nursery grounds.

The garden is also home to lots of wildlife and small animals, and in addition to the many wild birds who visit the feeders within the garden, we also have a pair of pet call ducks, which the children are able to handle and help in maintaining. Among the nursery's other pets are a Guinea Pig and a Rabbit
