We are open throughout the year from 8am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, except for one week of closure between Christmas and New Year, and for public holidays (see below for exact details).

2009/10 TERM AND HOLIDAY DATES

The Spring Term started on Monday 4th January and ends on Thursday 1st April for Grant Funded sessions. Half Term week is the week commencing Monday 15th February. Moorland will be open throughout half-term week for privately funded sessions if required - places are now available for booking through our administrator Alex Saunders.

Moorland will also be open throughout the Easter holiday excluding Good Friday (2nd April) and Easter Monday (5th April) and again privately funded sessions can be booked through Alex later this term.

The Summer Term starts on Monday 19th April 2010.

GENERAL INFORMATION

We operate two early years education sessions each day, Monday to Friday, running from 9am - 11.30pm and from 1.30pm - 4pm. However we open from 8am and do not close until 6pm, in order to offer more flexibility to parents who need to bring their children earlier, and/or collect them later than the main education session times.

Children may also stay over the lunchtime period of 11.30am until 1.30pm, and either bring a packed lunch into school or have a freshly prepared hot meal cooked in our nursery kitchen and served at 12.30pm.

Children who remain at Moorland when the main afternoon session ends at 4pm may stay for an afternoon "high tea", which is served at 4.30pm.
